Bramwell, WV (9/10/2012) - ATVriders.com recently had to opportunity to ride at the Hatfield McCoy Trail system located in West Virginia with Kawasaki. The Hatfield McCoy trail system is the premier ATV trail system on the east coast that features over 600 miles of trails and is one of the largest OHV trail systems in the world. There are 7 trail heads in the Hatfield McCoy trail system including Indian Ridge, Rock House, Little Coal, Buffalo Mountain, Bearwallow, Pinnacle Creek, and the newest trail head the Pocahontas trail system.

Opened on May 25th, 2012, the Pocahontas trailhead is located in Bramwell, WV. The town of Bramwell, WV much like the rich history of the Hatfield McCoy feud, holds is own remains of the past and can be seen by a short stroll through town.

Kawasaki brought out several of their Brute Force Utility ATV models including the 2013 Brute Force 650 EPS, Brute Force 750 EPS, and Brute Force 750 EPS Special Edition ATV to explore Hatfield McCoy's latest trail system addition.

Immediately, the 2013 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 4x4 EPS Special Edition ATV caught our eye with its Candy Lime Green painted plastic with chrome wheels. This would be our weapon of choice to check out and ride the Hatfield McCoy's Pocahontas trail system.

Like many of the trails at the Hatfield McCoy trail system, the Pocahontas trail system ranges in difficulty from easy to extremely difficult. All of the trails at the Hatfield McCoy Trail system are very well marked and maps are provided for every trail. We would mainly stay on the easy to more difficult trails that are marked with green and blue markers.

The Hatfield McCoy trail system is right in the heart of the Application Mountain range, which is the largest mountain range in the eastern United States. As you may have guessed, there are many elevation changes making the trails very interesting. West Virginia is also known for being the coal mining state.
